Recipe: Spaghetti of Champions

I shall attempt to give you a smaller serving size of this recipe.  I tend to cook for no less than 8 people!  I come from a big family, what do you expect?  Here we go....

Ingredients:
DISCLAIMER: any of these ingredients are optional, and please feel free to adjust the quantities to your liking!  Spaghetti is a fool proof dish, you can't really go too wrong with it!

Prego LIGHT SMART Traditional Spaghetti Sauce-1 jar
1 small bag of fresh spinach
1 container of fresh mushrooms-chopped
1 pound of raw, uncooked, shelled, deveined shrimp
1 pound ground turkey
chopped onion
chopped bell pepper
whole wheat pasta
Pepper to taste
NO SALT!!!

Directions:
In large non-stick skillet, brown ground turkey with chopped onions and bell peppers.  Pepper to taste.  In a large pot, bring spaghetti sauce and spinach to a simmer.  Drain and set aside ground turkey once browned.  Saute shrimp and chopped mushrooms in skillet, drain when all shrimp have cooked, or turned pink.  Add mushrooms, shrimp and ground turkey to spaghetti sauce and spinach.  Stir and cook til simmered.  Let simmer for approx. 5 min.  In another pot, cook whole wheat pasta according to package directions.  DO NOT: add the pasta to the sauce, or overcook.  Once pasta is through cooking, drain and dish out one serving of pasta onto a plate or bowl.  Top with spaghetti sauce mixture...enjoy!
